PHILIPSBURG:--- The Electoral Council wishes to inform the general public of its closure during this period.
The Electoral Council will be closed from Monday, March 23, 2020, and will continue to monitor the advice of the Government of St. Maarten concerning the COVID-19 virus.
The Electoral Council is requesting all candidates who still need to complete their donation registration, to please do so before the final deadline of March 31, 2020. During this period the Electoral Council will accept the donation forms digitally via its office email address. The hard copies can be submitted once the council is back to its normal operation.
The Electoral Council is also advising all political parties who were registered in 2019 to submit their annual reports digitally via its office email address.
