Philipsburg:--- Minister of Education, Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs Dr. Rhoda Arrindell left the island on Wednesday afternoon to attend the students forum that is being organized by the Soualiga Foundation in the Netherlands with the theme "Study Successfully, Return Successfully."Minister Arrindell told reporters at Wednesday's press briefing that the objective of the forum is to document the issues affecting St. Maarten students studying in the Netherlands, particularly their success rates at school and their decision to return or not to return to the island after completing their studies.
Minister Arrindell further explained that she will be presenting government policies for students who chose to return to St. Maarten after completion of their studies. She said she will also participate in the interactive session after her presentation and she is hopeful that they would find useful solutions the issues facing St. Maarten students in the Netherlands.
