PHILIPSBURG:--- SHTA and ENNIA have partnered to offer the SHTA members additional employee benefits through a collective pension plan on favorable terms. In the future all the employees of the SHTA members can arrange a simplified pension contract with ENNIA.
St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association's (SHTA) is the largest trade association on St. Maarten with a diversified membership base that includes hotels; timeshare properties; restaurants; wholesale and retail companies; marine companies; realtors; contractors; legal and accounting firms and more.
In a presentation to the Board of SHTA, Myrtille Brookson, Branch Manager of ENNIA and Mr. Arie Groothuis, Senior Account Manager Pension and Employee Benefits of ENNIA explained the details of the various ENNIA pension plans and how members and their employees can benefit from additional long term retirement planning. The SHTA seeks to expand member benefits through collaborative agreements such as this, and believes that there is a general need for improved retirement planning. The SHTA is pleased to have the opportunity to create this added benefit to members and their employees.
