Henriquez-Dijkhoffz and Baly designated most valuable SER members of 2012.

sermostvaluablemembers21122012PHILPSBURG:--- At the end of its first full year of operation, the SER this week distinguished two members from their midst as 'most valuable member' and substitute member of 2012.
Out of the nine permanent SER members, three of whom represent the labor unions, three stem from the business community, while three are appointed by government as independent experts, it was Mrs. Eveline Henriquez-Dijkhoffz upon whom the honor of most valuable member was bestowed. Mrs. Henriquez-Dijkhoffz, a SER member representing the SHTA, was accredited for her consistent attendance, her exemplary level of preparation, and frequent valuable contributions to the SER deliberations.
For each SER member a substitute member is appointed, who is expected to attend meetings in case a permanent member is indisposed. Substitute members are allowed to sit in on other meetings as well, albeit without voting rights. Out of the nine substitute members, Mr. Aurillio Baly was selected for his frequent voluntary attendance of SER meetings, in which he consistently and energetically contributed to the proceedings. Mr. Baly is the substitute for union stalwart William Reed of the WICSU/PSU.
In a small ceremony on Wednesday, December 19th at the SER premises, the distinguished members received a small token of appreciation from the hands of SER chairman René Richardson.
Additional information on SER members, procedures and documents is available on the SER website www.sersxm.org
