Philipsburg:--- A female passenger traveling on Insel Air on Thursday morning from Curacao to the Dominican Republic passed away while the aircraft was on its way to St. Maarten. Insel Air normally makes an in transit stop at the PJIAE before taking off to its final destination.
Prosecutor Dounia Benammar confirmed to SMN News on Thursday that a female passenger passed away on the aircraft while it was on its way to St. Maarten. Benammar said that the woman was not traveling alone and her final destination was the Dominican Republic. The police doctor pronounced the woman dead when the aircraft landed on St. Maarten and also determined that she died of natural causes.
