Pond Island:--- TelEm Group's fifth and final "Road to Carnival" event came to a thrilling end at the Tantra Nigh Club Wednesday night.
This Tantra night is billed each week as "Ladies Night" but for this week only, all attention was on TelEm Group's pre-carnival promotions which took place at the height of the evening.
"We've come to the end of the road as far as creating public awareness about the carnival event which is now here," said one of the event co-ordinators, Lead Customer Service Representative, Suraj Ramdas.
He said TelEm Group made lots of friends and attracted many new customers while on the road taking in – Soggy Dollar, Bliss Night Club; The Boardwalk and Sheika's Bistro in Philipsburg.
"It was definitely a big plus for us and also for the Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) who collaborated with us on this project," continued Mr. Ramdas.
He thanked all the volunteers from TelEm Group who gave up their time during many evenings to ensure the pre-carnival parties went smoothly and especially the team set up within the company to plan and execute the Road to Carnival events.
Mr. Ramdas said the work of the team is far from over.
"Now that the pre-carnival show is over and everyone is warmed up – It's time for Carnival!" he says.
