ST. PETERS:--- Members of Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise (Sunrise Rotary Club) visited the Hillside Christian Schools Helmich Snijders Campus recently and it was brought to their attention that the school is in need of a new water cooler.
These Sunrise Rotary Club members brought the request to the board of the club, which moved to approve the purchase of a brand new water cooler.
Accepting the water cooler on behalf of the school was Principal Mrs. B. Sprott, who disclosed that she was excited about the donation. Mrs. Sprott further noted that the donation came just in time for the school and is a very welcome addition to the coolers that the school already possesses.
On behalf of the students of the school, 6th grade student Nikita Doran thanked the members of the Sunrise Rotary Club for the water cooler.
Sunrise Rotary Club is always keen to provide schools with the necessary tools to assist the children in their learning process, and providing potable water is part of that. It is now commonly known that children who drink plenty of water have improved concentration levels and ability to learn. Experts agree that every child should drink at least one liter of water in small amounts throughout the day and that children who drink plenty of water are healthier and function better.
