PHILIPSBURG:--- In just 16 days, the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association will be hosting its 8th Crystal Pineapple Awards Gala Event, recognizing excellence in service in the Tourism, Trade and Environmental industries.
The voting period has been opened since October 28th, 2013 and will close on November 8th, 2013. The organizing committee is pleased with vast amount nominees that have been submitted for the 14 different voting categories. A total of 3400 people have already casted their votes.
"These are the last days to vote and we are urging the general public to show their support for their favorite nominees. This is your opportunity to make someone a star for the night!" said the Crystal Pineapple Awards Committee. Tickets are now available at the SHTA office and are $150 per person. Persons can also purchase a table consisting of 10 seats. Each ticket includes entrance to the Gala Event, the cocktail reception, a sumptuous dinner, the silent auction and live entertainment.
