PHILIPSBURG:--- Fun Miles, the Caribbean's largest customer reward program, is proud to be a part of the D'Event Bathtub Derby 2013, to be held at Kim Sha Beach on November 10th from 11 a.m. After a highly successful first edition in 2012, this exciting race is set to make waves once again. Teams will build cardboard boats and race them around a course. To add to the fun, there will be entertainment, food, drinks and a Fun Miles tent with games, giveaways, and specials.
ABOUT THE D'EVENT BATHTUB DERBY 2013
Organized by the enthusiastic ladies of D'Event Planners, The Bathtub Derby is an event where teams race homemade boats of recycled cardboard, duct tape and environmentally friendly waterproof paint. Participating teams include companies, schools, families and groups of friends. Apart from a very interesting nautical competition, the Bathtub Derby is a festive affair that brings people together, complete with DJs, MCs, a barbecue and lots of fun and entertainment. Part of the events' proceeds will donated to the 'Technology in the Classroom' to benefit the youth of our community.
FUN MILES WILL BE THERE
Fun Miles will be present at the Bathtub Derby with its own tent. New and existing cardholders will be able to win 100 Fun Miles with the teeter toss game, and a whopping 15,000 Fun Miles with a special Facebook campaign. For a chance to win, they will need to apply a temporary Fun Miles tattoo, post a picture to Facebook, and tag Fun Miles. New cardholders will receive 250 Bonus Miles with purchase of their card.
