CAY HILL:--- A 24 year old man identified as Giovani Bobby Mattis (24)died just after noon on Friday where he was involved in a traffic accident. According to a press release from Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson, police responded to the scene of the accident at Jaguar and Cougar Road around 12:35pm. Henson said when police reached the scene the victim identified as G.B M (24) was lying on the road in the middle of the street showing no signs of life.
The paramedics who arrived on the scene examined the victim but Dr. Douglass who arrived shortly after stated that the victim had died as a result of the injuries he suffered. According to witnesses, the victim had been riding quite recklessly with his motorcycle (MF-945) through the neighborhood earlier during the day and due to his irresponsible way of riding, lost control and hit into the right rear corner of a pick-up truck with license plate V-1180 that was parked on the side of the street. Due to the impact the victim was thrown from the motorcycle and fell to the ground where he remained. The Police Traffic Department is finalizing this investigation.
