L.B. SCOTT ROAD:--- Members of the Parent Teacher Association of the Sister Magda School happily accepted a donation from the Cooperating Foundations of the Dutch Caribbean (Samenwerkende Fondsen) for their clever anonymous breakfast program for those children in their school that need it.
Normally the funding agency Cooperating Foundations does not finance food items and compensation for food preparation for about 6 months if there is no guarantee that it can continue afterwards. Because the government however has firm plans to start breakfast programs in all primary schools next year, an exception was made.
