POINT BLANCHE:--- 25 truckers from the various districts and DEVCON worked hand in hand to transport sand to the Great Bay Beach to widen certain sections that had eroded. This was done in order to maintain the premier image that the destination in the cruise industry. On Tuesday, November 26 six vessels are scheduled to visit the destination and dock at the Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facility. This also includes the cruise vessel Mein Schiff 2 back for the first time for the season. Everybody plays a role in keeping the cruise product looking good including the truckers of St. Maarten with the replenishment of one of the nation's primary beaches.
