PHILIPSBURG:--- The French national that died in a scooter accident last week at the entrance of Divi Little Bay Hotel has been identified by public Prosecutor Tineke Kamps. The accident victim has been identified as Benjamen Jeremy Clement ROBERT who was born on August 8th, 1983.
Benjamen died of severe head injuries when he slammed into the guard railing in the vicinity of Divi Little Bay Hotel. Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson said on the day of the fatal accident that the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident but he was riding at very high speed. Henson said the victim lost control of his scooter when he attempted to overtake a taxi (minivan) that was turning into the entrance of Divi Little Bay Hotel.
Police confiscated the body at the time of the accident to conduct their investigation.
