PHILIPSBURG:---- The Philipsburg Jubilee Library is proud to announce a series of exciting media technology workshops. The intermediate level workshops will be offered to persons of all ages.
The Media Lab is a computer room in the library where over a thousand visitors have enjoyed multimedia technology workshops since its opening in April 2014. This month the Media Lab has a number of interesting courses lined up, such as Game Maker, Prezi and Programming with code. In the Game Maker workshop participants play a memory game and make short movie clips. The media lab will also offer courses on how to work with Prezi, a new type of presentation tool which makes it possible to include movement and effects in a flashy presentation. This is a very useful presentation tool for students and professionals alike. For those hoping to one day perhaps aspire to a career in IT or who are just interested in the basics of programming, the Media Lab offers a course where they will be introduced to programming in a way that makes programming fun.
