PHILIPSBURG"--- Former head of Finance Hiro Shigemoto and Roberto Gibbs can now breathe a sigh of relief after being dragged through the mud for over two years. Both men were held in pre-trial detention when the prosecutor's office started a case against Shigemoto for double paying Global Advisory Company for services they provide to the government of St. Maarten. On Thursday the judge ruled that the prosecution case against the two men were baseless and dismissed all charges that were brought against them. Hiro Shigemoto was represented by Attorney at Law Jairo Bloem while Gibbs was represented by Richard Gibson Jr.
