Ribbon cutting marks the opening of CC1’s new facilities

ccigrandopening06112015Cay Hill:---  Members of the Government and CC1’s top management, business partners, clients, suppliers and employees gathered yesterday for the official grand opening and celebration of CC1’s new facilities at Oryx Drive, #1, Cay Hill. The infrastructure is four times the size of its previous facilities.

After operating as B&C Beverages Distributors N.V., the company rebranded and restructured itself as CC1 St. Maarten. “For over 30 years B&C has brought to the market many of the international top brands enjoyed by many generations. Today, St. Maarten writes a new chapter in its history, taking a step forward to strengthen its legacy. It gives me great pleasure to announce that after three decades, B&C Beverages Distributors N.V. becomes CC1 St. Maarten”, said Ada Iris Delgado, General Manager of CC1, during a powerful and emotional speech in the ribbon cut ceremony.

CC1’s top priority is the ‘Customer First Philosophy’. The new facilities maximize their reach and efficiency, with a goal of deliveries within 24hrs. “Now equipped with the best tools, we will increase our product line and presence at every consumer touch point through aggressive activations and promotions, including improved service and support on the Dutch and French side of the Island. The transformation also allows us to install a new brand of forward-thinking business culture. This mindset will strengthens our impressive portfolio of best-in-class products”, continued Delgado.
CC1 is one of the largest distributors in St. Maarten and currently sells the top brands in the market, such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Dasani, Canada Dry, Corona Extra, Budweiser, Michelob, among others. In September the company reinforced their beer portfolio with the acquisition of the Presidente Beer,the #1 Beer of the Caribbean.

The corporate headquarters in Puerto Rico make a significant investment for the new facilities and infrastructure; they strengthen its commitment to premier services and quality in the local market.

Alberto Rivera, Vice President of Finance at CC1, emphasized during the event the company’s commitment with the Island. “Our investment in St. Maarten is a reflection of our commitment to the Island’s growth as well as a symbol of our confidence in the strength of the market. Our operations here highlight the importance of St. Maarten’s role in the regional and global economy.”

As the top executive affirmed, CC1 is focused in bringing to the market the top-quality products and services that local consumers deserve, while simultaneously driving the island’s economic growth through a robust business model that is based on innovation.

Also, at the ceremony, the General Manager read CC1’s newmission, whichexpressedtheir ambition to become the #1 Beverage Distribution Company in the Island. “Committed to provide premium products, excellent service and professionalism in everything we do through authenticity, innovation and leadership; always focused on our customers and consumers.”, said a portion of the company’s mission.

Delgado concluded recognizing the people who believed and made the company a success.“I want to recognize all the individuals that made this possible, starting with our company owner Alberto de la Cruz who had the vision, believed in the project and made it happen.
