PHILIPSBURG:---- On Friday afternoon newly sworn in Minister of Education Culture Youth & Sports The Honorable Silveria Jacobs addressed youth participants of the Team Blue Ribbon Youth Rally that was organized by the Department of Youth Affairs. The Youth Rally started at the John Larmonie Youth Center, and ended at the Government Administration Building via Frontstreet.
Students & Parents of the Hillside Christian School along with the New Generation Status drum band participated in the parade through Philipsburg. The Youth Rally is part of the Calendar of Events bringing awareness to the Rights of the Child 2015, the theme for this year is “Strong Families Nurture Strong Societies”
