Philipsburg:--On Thursday April 16th at approximately 07.45 p.m. the police traffic dept. was directed to the Zagersgut road for a traffic accident whereby one man was injured. On the scene the officers encountered the victim with initials A.J.D. lying on the ground and was complaining of pain in his body. During the investigation the traffic officers learnt, that the victim was sitting on the top of one of the speakers at the back of the trailer truck/ band truck of the ENTYCE BAND. While the truck was moving forward, the victim did not see the low hanging telephone line that was across the street and was accidentally hooked by his neck ("clothes lined"). As result of this the victim lost his balance and fell on his back to the ground. The hight from which the victim fell is approximately five meters. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and then transported to the medical center for further medical treatment.
