EXCLUSIVE: GEBE statutory director refuses to leave office, despite being suspended. (UPDATED)

~ SBOD will have to physically have the COO removed, Temmer left premises on Tuesday morning.~

PHILIPSBURG:--- Reliable information reaching SMN News states that the two-member Supervisory Board of Directors (SBOD) of NV GEBE met with the only appointed statutory director Merril Temmer on Monday at 3 pm where they heard the Chief Operations Officer, then issued him with a letter of immediate suspension. The suspension is in line with the articles of incorporation so Temmer must remove himself from the premises or risk being physically removed
Sources say the SBOD was informed that the former Temporary Manager was allegedly seen removing documents from the building and putting them in the vehicle she drives. According to the sources, the two NV GEBE employees that managed the company during the time of the hack are allegedly busy destroying evidence however, the SBOD has to do everything in their power to secure the footage before its being deleted from the servers or hard drives.
The source further explained that while it is alleged that evidence is being destroyed, the Prosecutors would have to request the bank accounts and statements in order to see all the paper trail.
The sources say that Temmer lawyered up while taking along an attorney representing NV GEBE. SMN News learned that despite being officially suspended, Temmer has since refused to leave office. Sources say that the SBOD will now have to act by having Temmer physically removed from his office should he not respect the SBOD and the decision taken by the shareholder. Not to mention Temmer was on extended sick leave and only surfaced when he heard that Daniel would have been suspended and Troy Washington was being appointed Independent Temporary Manager.
The shareholder is making sure they follow all procedures so that there are no consequences with the expected court cases that would follow.
The shareholder already signed off on the resolution to appoint an Independent Temporary Manager in the person of Troy Washington while the shareholder has also instructed the SBOD to appoint an independent crisis management team.
It is expected that as soon as the Temporary Manager takes office, he will suspend the Chief Internal Auditor Sharine Daniel who was also the Temporary Manger while Temmer was on medical leave.
Daniel will be suspended along with Temmer while an independent investigation takes place of the operations over the past months since the cyber attack on NV GEBE servers on March 16th, 2022.
It should be noted that while the former management teams gave approval for the auditing of the NV GEBE IT department it was never conducted by Daniel’s team or an external auditing firm.

Early Tuesday morning, SMN News learned that the Chief Operations Officer of NV GEBE Merril Temmer has decided to cooperate with the SBOD and has since left the premises before being escorted out. It is understood that police were on standby ready to give assistance should the members of SBOD needed.

SMN News further learned that the official investigation has begun and some staff members of NV GEBE are being questioned by law enforcement.

In the meantime, Temporary Manager Troy Washington is to immediately suspend the chief internal auditor former Temporary Manager Sharine Daniel and to start dismissal procedures if the two are found to be at fault after the independent investigations.
