PHILIPSBURG:--- Well-known comedian and journalist Andrew Dick who is also the producer of SXM News Room is now in police custody accused of embezzling a large sum of monies from B&C beverages. A source at KPSM confirmed that Dick was arrested on Wednesday after representatives of the company filed an official complaint with police.
According to the source Dick embezzled a large amount of monies from the company. B&C beverages placed an advertisement in the local newspapers informing its customers that Dick was no longer working for the company and that he is not authorized to do business on behalf of B&C. The company further stated that they will not be held liable for business Dick conducted on their behalf.
Journalist arrested.
On Thursday June 19th, 2014 at approximately 1:45pm, a well-known journalist with initials A. D. was arrested by police in Cole Bay as a suspect in an ongoing investigation of embezzlement. The suspect was arrested without incident under orders of the Public Prosecutors Office and handed over to the Detective Department. A.D. has been detained for further questioning.
