PHILIPSBURG:---- Kooyman B.V. supports St. Maarten Pride with regards to the upcoming International Coastal Clean-up. This large scale clean-up campaign is slated for Sunday September 20th 2015. And Kooyman will once again show their support through a monetary donation of ANG 1000,- towards the purchase of gloves, garbage bags and other sanitary items used to facilitate the volunteers during the event.
International Coastal Clean-Up puts the spotlight on the importance of environmental well-being and sustainability of the island of St. Maarten and its coastline. Kooyman commends the St. Maarten Pride Foundation for their efforts to mobilize people to take action every day to protect our paradise.
“Kooyman St. Maarten has organized a team of 10 employees to give a helping hand at this year’s event , though we hope to get more volunteers leading up to the event. Through this initiative, we hope to encourage all local businesses and residents to come out and give back to your community” said Evencia Carty-Seabrookes, Kooyman commercial officer.
