SYNOPSIS:
Patches of low-level clouds moving with the wind flow, coupled with lingering moisture from the tropical cyclone in the vicinity may produce isolated showers during this forecast period.
Furthermore, seas are expected to continue improving gradually during the next couple of days. Small craft operators and beach goers are advised to maintain caution.

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to Moderate WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 7 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE:
As of 5pm, Major Hurricane Matthew increased to a Category-4 on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale. Matthew is located about 645 miles southwest of St. Maarten and is moving west-southwest at 9 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 140 mph. Some additional strengthening is possible tonight, as it continues to move further away from the local region.
