PHILIPSBURG:--- The anti-corruption team (TBO) is currently searching the home of Attorney at Law Peggy Ann Brandon.
SMN News learned that Brandon is currently off island while investigators are busy ransacking her home. SMN News further learned that the lawyer representing Brandon, Attorney at Law Brenda Brooks had to be removed from the property as the investigators conduct the search. Sources say Attorney at Law Brooks did not want to follow the order of the judge that was on the scene with the TBO team. Brooks it is understood was removed in order for her not to disturb the ongoing search.
The search it is understood is related to the case that relates to BTP and Taliesin Construction Company and its owner Carl Critchlow.
Spokesman for the TBO Roderick Gouverneur confirmed that the TBO team is busy conducting the search at Brandon’s home address and also confirmed that Attorney Brooks had to be removed from the property as she did not follow the judge’s order. Gouverneur said that he is unable to release any further information on the ongoing investigation and search.
