Roadside vendors requested to remove booths from public roadsides by Monday 5.00pm.

GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- The Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications (TEATT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), would like to remind roadside vendors of the Carnival 50th celebration, to remove the booth structures from the designated locations by Monday, May 13 at 5.00pm.

Carnival 50 activities are now over and therefore vending activities as well.

The designated vending location must be left in the condition in which it was found.

Violators will be penalized and risk not being able to vend along the public roadside for Carnival 2020 if they do not adhere to the stipulations in their permit.

The aforementioned information was provided also during an information session on the expectations of the vendors during Carnival 50th, including set up and break down of their booths as well as explanation of the conditions in their permit.

Ministry TEATT and Ministry VROMI look forward to the cooperation of all vendors with respect to the aforementioned.
