~TBO Prosecutor tightlipped.~
PHILIPSBURG:--- At least one person was arrested early Tuesday morning by TBO officers that are busy with the DRACO investigation. The female suspect Dylcia Lake was arrested early Tuesday morning at the Royal Palm Hotel where she spent the night.
More than 12 officers from the TBO team comb through her Ebenezer home. Dylica Lake is a close business partner with the main suspect in the DRACO investigation former Member or Parliament Silvio Matser. After several hours of search conducted at Lake’s home, the officers seized a server, two safes, boxes of files and also several mobile phones.
SMN News has since learned that Lake has been accused with committing tax evasion starting since 2017. However, she was arrested as a suspect in the DRACO investigation.
SMN News further learned that the TBO Team also searched an apartment belonging to Matser on Monday.
Spokesperson for the Prosecutor’s Office Hazel Durand confirmed that the TBO is busy with the house searches and more information will be released in the coming days. Durand said the TBO Prosecutor was not even willing to confirm the arrest of Dylcia Lake who remains in custody up to late Tuesday evening.
