Bob Traa resigns.

Willemstad/Philipsburg - Mr. Bob Traa, acting president of the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint
Maarten (CBCS), resigns due to personal reasons. Traa notified the Board of Supervisors of the
CBCS of his resignation on November 28, 2019. The Supervisory Board regrets, but respects Mr.
Traa’s decision.

In the short period of time that Mr. Traa served as President of the CBCS, Traa made a significant contribution to the Bank. Traa, thanks to his extensive knowledge and experience, has given more substance to the elaboration of macro-economic issues, with a specific attention for the characteristics of each of the Countries Curaçao and Sint Maarten. His management style empowered him to bring together colleagues from different disciplines and involve them in the decision-making process. He knew very well how to respond to the many challenges the CBCS is facing. He has always treated his co-workers with kindness and respect.

Mr. Traa steps down as acting president on December 31, 2019. Communication regarding his succession will follow in due course.

The Board of Supervisors of the CBCS wishes Mr. Traa much success in his future career.
