GEBE interim manager Sharine Daniel resigns, citing irreconcilable differences.

sharinedaniel12082020PHILIPSBURG:--- As the saga continues with NV GEBE Supervisory Board of Directors and Interim Manager Sharine Daniel has forced the latter to tender her resignation on Thursday afternoon.
The resignation letter which was sent to the SBOD states that Daniel has terminated the service agreement dated October 28th, 2020 which will become effective as of February 19th, 2021.

Daniel stated in her letter that she has informed the SBOD on multiple occasions that they have been interfering with the daily affairs of N.V GEBE which is in breach of the articles of incorporation and the Corporate Governance Code.
The letter further reads that she regrets resigning from the position but her aim is to distance herself from the unlawful actions taken by the SBOD of NV GEBE and to also safeguard her application to serve GEBE in the position of permanent director in the coming years. Daniel hopes to resume her position as the Chief Internal Auditor of the company. The letter of resignation has been copied to the Minister of VROMI Egbert Jurendy Doran.

SMN News learned that the SBOD already signed a contract with another candidate identified as Devon Dembrook a former employee of NV GEBE who now operates his own company in the Cole Bay area.
It is understood that the contract was signed today Thursday, February 11th, 2021.

Efforts made to reach the Chairman of the SBOD Nina Diaz for a comment has since proved futile.
