The Ministry of VROMI is finally realizing that they illegally published false accusations against Express Heavy Equipment & Trucking Services N.V and its managing director Mr. Leroy La Paix, accusing the company of theft. Nevertheless, since the law prohibits anyone from constructing "false accusations", the ministry of VROMI has to be held responsible for their illegal actions. Meanwhile, Express Heavy Equipment is in possession of a letter that authorized "La Sorta" the company that contracted Express Trucking Services, the rights to take sand. This letter along with the public broadcast from the former minister where he clarified that he authorized Mr. Leroy La Paix to transport asphalt to local citizens (tax payers) upon request not only cleared Express Trucking, but has put Express Trucking in a position to take legal actions against the ministry of VROMI for damages to the company's reputation. Ever since these widespread accusations, respected businessman Mr. La Paix has been constantly questioned negatively in the community. Mr. La Paix is extremely overwhelmed with the enormous attention that these false accusations have amounted to. Mr. La Paix went on to elaborate further on the "dirty politics" being played by the minister of VROMI and VROMI department heads who are using the term "Back to Basics" as a "smoke screen" to victimize local and prominent contractors. Since the formation of the new government, they'd illegally stopped several projects that were already bid upon and awarded to local contractors, signed off by the former minister. FOGA project just to name one and the accused theft of milled asphalt and Sand is just a few false allegations derived from VROMI. Express management has forwarded petitions to the Secretary General of VROMI Mr. Brown demanding a public apology directly from his department and to the Ombudsman, to commence with an investigation based on "negligence and false accusations."
I would like to make mention that this article was refused by the daily herald, despite several articles published by the daily in reference to the above accusations.
