'Help promote ethnic diverse input in new generation talk-show'.
In keeping with our objectives -, our St. Martin Grassroots People Movement has decided to take its role as the fore-most, visionary St. Martin nation building- and unification institution in informing- and empowering the people - to the 'next level'.
After having inspired-, produced- and hosted a number of informative programs on the issue of nation building and unification - starting in the New Year 2015 - we hope to start producing a variety of similar informative- and forward thinking programs – this time to be hosted by a variety of interested young people as hosts.
In fact - it is our intention to encourage and to promote young people from ALL ethnic backgrounds on our island- and from both sides of the island and beyond- to get involved in making use of our platform to freely express their views, in terms of how they would like to see the ST. MARTIN nation building- and unification process proceed- and evolve, from every relevant aspect of our society.
We are convinced- that with some coaching - this is the time for the younger generation of citizens living on the island and having a stake here – to start designing- and owning their own future.
We have had our impact on the process for over a very long time and now we - as the original, self-respecting St. Martin Grassroots People Movement, feel it is time to 'pass on the baton' to the next generation, certainly in terms of allowing for the voices of the future generations to be heard.
Our St. Martin Grassroots People Movement - has already been successful in attracting a number of outstanding young people from both sides of the island, to take on this mission.
Soon, we will be contacting you in order to be able to come to an understanding of how your stations can make time-slots available for this very important initiative necessary for the inclusion of all people in the process of nation building.
In ending - we also look forward to support for these young people from Governments on all levels, from the private-sector/corporate sponsors, educational institutions, social clubs and all other interested parties.
Indeed - failing our young people in this vial task, is not an option, so we anxiously anticipate your positive response- and participation.
On behalf of the
ST. Martin Grassroots People Movement,
Drs. Leopold James, president.
