Philipsburg:--- The G.I.F.T.E.D. Foundation returns with their series of praise parties with GLOW Party- "Light Up Di Night" on September 29th at the John Larmonie Centre starting at 7pm in collaboration with international performing gospel artiste and DJ, Joshua DRJ Ferrol for a double celebration and birthday bash.Joshua (DRJ) Ferrol was born on St. Martin on September 29, 1985. Born blind with additional handicaps, it was a challenge while growing up. However, through the power of God he received his sight at a very early age. Called into ministry at the tender age of 15, he started traveling the Caribbean preaching and teaching the word of God. In 2006 he travelled to St. Kitts to study medicine but ended up as an undergrad in Psychology. He is now an ordained minister still traveling the world, counseling young people, and is faithfully attending the CTC ministries in St. Maarten. A former DJ of well known radio stations around the island, he is still doing it big for Christ with music, singing, producing and leading worship. He is currently finishing his first two books and is aiming to do all he can to bring young people closer to the love of the creator.
Guest gospel DJ, Kasseem (DJ Kass) Forde from Anguilla, will be the DJ for the night alongside the birthday boy, DRJ. There will also be other performances for the night including one from local gospel artiste, Likkle Bless. Patrons are expected to dress to illuminate the dark, in line with the theme "Light Up di Night". There will be prizes for the best dressed, as well as other prizes and surprises. Free drinks will be served to the Early Birds from 7pm to 8pm.
GIFTED's GLOW parties and other activities have been getting much attention on social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Local youth groups and individuals are also in on the buzz and quite excited about the party series by GIFTED. GLOW parties provide wholesome entertainment for young Christ-minded people and create an experience with good friends, great music, and great memories.
