Jamaican National Arrested for Alleged Rape Offense.

Airport:--- A man with initials S.F.H. from Jamaica was arrested by police on Saturday August 25th at approximately 08:00am at the Princes Juliana International Airport suspected of rape. A warrant for the arrest of the suspect who had gone to the airport to catch a flight to Jamaica that same day was issued after a report was filed by the victim. The incident took place on Thursday August 23rd in the Hope Estate. The suspect remains in custody for further investigation by the Detective Department.
Head of the Border Control Geronimo Juliet commended the officers for their alertness and professionalism in how they handled the case. "We would like to remind the public that the passport is the traveling document and not the ID card or Driver's License. Dutch nationals who are visiting Curacao or Aruba and the other Dutch entities can travel with the ID card. Non-Dutch nationals must have their passport with them while traveling," Juliet concluded.
