The Award Gala is being held on November 30th at Sonesta Maho Ball Room and is St. Maarten's premier annual black tie event.
Nominations are continuing to roll in. If you haven't nominated, please visit our Facebook page to nominate an individual who stands out and has done an exceptional job within their business field. SHTA stated in a press release that it has already received nominations in five categories for several persons within the island.
The association is encouraging business owners, managers, employees and residents in the community in general, to nominate and their candidate soon before the nomination period closes. Nomination forms have been digitized and can be found on our Crystal Pineapple Awards Facebook page, along with a list of category details. Nominations period will close on November 9th, or until all categories have been filled.
The awards consist of 14 categories and this year we are only accepting four nominees per award, which means 56 individuals or organizations, will be recognized and valued for the work they have accomplished over the years. The organizing committee is reminding the general public to ensure that when they nominate a person or company "please write why you would like to nominate the particular individual". "
