Anguilla/St. Martin:--- Unconfirmed reports reaching SMN News on Friday evening state that The Royal Anguilla Police Criminal Investigation Department arrested the Anguillian Minister of Home Affairs Walcott Richardson as they continue to investigate a case of sexual misconduct.
According to information provided to SMN News, a woman filed a complaint against the Minister which prompted the investigation. SMN News learnt earlier this week that the Royal Anguilla Police Force was busy with the investigation since earlier this week but the arrest was only made on Friday. Efforts made to reach the Anguilla Commissioner of Police Rudolph Proctor Friday evening for confirmation and a comment proved futile. SMN News will bring you more information as soon as Commissioner Proctor could be reached by telephone or he issues a press release on the arrest and ongoing investigation.
