Philipsburg:--- The judge of instruction granted the Prosecutor their request on Monday and extended the pre-trial detention of the boyfriend of missing Jamaican Anne Marie Lynch. The boyfriend has been identified by friends of the missing woman as either Wallace or Serge.
Chief Prosecutor Hans Mos confirmed on Monday that the judge extended the pretrial detention of the woman's boyfriend as they continue the investigation regarding the missing person.
Anne Marie Lynch (41) was an employee of Pineapple Pete's Restaurant, she went missing on December 22nd, 2013. According to friends and co-workers of the missing woman, she confided in them the same night she went missing that she was having problems with her boyfriend who found out she had some monies. In January 2013 friends and co-workers of Anne Marie Lynch combed the beaches on St. Maarten and they managed to find a black stretch jeans pants they believe belonged to their missing friend. One of the friends who was part of the search party said that they also found a location not far from where the pants were found where someone seems to have burned some items. The pants were turned over to police who apparently conducted the necessary forensic testing to determine if the pants belonged to Lynch.
The friends told SMN News in an earlier interview that Lynch was accustomed to playing "partner hand" and she was someone that saves her monies because she has two children in her homeland Jamaica. As for the monies Lynch apparently had, her friends said they believe that Lynch had collected her partner hand, the last and first payments. Another concern the friends had was the different stories the boyfriend told the friends that contacted him when they were looking for Lynch after she did not show up for work or make contact with her children during the Christmas holidays.
