Marigot:--- On January 31st, 2013 the Gendarmes arrested two employees of Chronopost for grand theft. According to a press release from the Gendarmerie, the two men ages 20 and 39 were arrested on their jobs for stealing items valued up to 12,000 Euros. The manager of Chronopost filed a complaint with the Gendarmes on January 21st, 2013 when he realized that the company lost lots of its goods, mostly digital cameras that were stored at their warehouse in Hope Estate. Shortly after the complaint was filed, the investigators suspected the two employees whose actions were suspicious. The investigation showed that the two suspects were attracted to electronic devices such as iPads and mobile phones. The Gendarmes said it is believed that the suspects stole the valuable items and replaced them with items that had no value before circulating the packages. The two will have to appear in court on April 18th, 2013.
