Philipsburg:--- A BlackBerry broadcast message which began circulating on Sunday has sparked an internal investigation at the Pointe Blanche Prison, confirmed Minister of Justice Roland Duncan. The Minister of Justice said he also got the BlackBerry message and he could not say if the contents of the message has any truth to it but he instructed the Director of the Prison Facility Edward Rohan to investigate and submit a report to him as soon as possible. The BlackBerry message states that prison guards are charging prisoners up to $1000.00 in exchange for sex and the monies are taken from the prisoner's canteen monies. The message even suggested the sexual activities involves an inmate that is HIV positive, therefore the prisoners at Pointe Blanche prison are now concerned and disturbed.
SMN News learnt that a prison guard whose name is mentioned in the broadcast message is indeed having a sexual relationship with a former inmate who is currently out on early release and that is against the rules of the prison. SMN News has been reliably informed that the sexual activity between the prison guard and the prisoner has been taking place for quite some time now and nothing was ever done about it even though it is against the rules of the prison for prison guards to have sexual contact with inmates.

On the behalf of the Point Blanch Prison, St Marteen N.V, I am letting this message out to the general public informing you all that female guards are charging inmates minimum US$1000.00 obtained from canteen fees in bagain for sex reliable sources state that one of the following is Stalina Yoke a.k.a Shotless, the present girlfriend of an ex-inmate Shervin Woods; in comrade with Masha Yoke a.k.a "Charles Barry"...
Prisoners are discontented with the behavior of the sexual contacts as they are disturb about the fact that one incident consist of one HIV infected inmate. Claims have been made to the recent ex-director and is pointing out to the reigning director of Point Blanch Prison, St Marteen N.V.
" As an inmate residing at the confirmed facility, I personally request that if we are considering the fact fees are being paid for sexual intercourse with female gaurds, I request decent and clean agender amoungst the prison population."
While the above message is disturbing to say the least, it is clear that if there is any truth regarding the price prisoners have to pay prison guards for sex then one can conclude that sex in prison is rather expensive even though it's illegal. Efforts made to reach Prison Director Edward Rohan on Monday for a comment by telephone proved futile.
Some months ago the Prison Director Edward Rohan and his colleagues showed reporters at the A.C. Wathey Legislative Hall the amount of items they confiscated during spontaneous searches at the prison facilities. One of the items that was confiscated is a "sex toy – plastic vagina". When reporters asked the Prison Director why that item was confiscated since conjugal visits are not allowed in the prison and the item in question cannot harm anyone, Rohan said that too was an illegal item and if a prisoner wants something like that they have to request it.
