Philipsburg:--- A seminar that will focus on "Women with a Purpose" will be held on St. Maarten in June. The announcement was made by the Prime Minister of St. Maarten Sarah Wescot Williams on Wednesday during the Council of Ministers' weekly press conference. Wescot Williams said Anguilla, St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, and St. Maarten are collaborating with the organizers to have the event from June 18th to June 22nd, 2013.
Wescot Williams said that on June 19th, 2013 a women of power luncheon will be held under the theme "Its 2013 -- As women how do we measure our power?" The keynote speakers will be Carmen Wong Ulrich and Solidad O'Brien from CNN.
The Prime Minister said that during the event there will be several dignitaries on the island including several international media to cover the event. More information on the seminar will be disseminated as the date approaches.
