HIV & AIDS PROGRAMME MANAGER DEPARTS FOR REGIONAL TRAINING WORKSHOP.

Suzette Moses-Burton, Programme Manager of the HIV & AIDS Programme Management Team (PMT) departs on Tuesday, March 5th to Trinidad and Tobago to attend a three day workshop on "Costing for Strategic Decision-Making" for regional representatives of National AIDS Programmes and senior policy-makers from Ministries of Public Health throughout the Caribbean. The invitation to attend this workshop was extended from the Centre of Health Economics of the University of the West Indies in collaboration with Futures Institute. This training workshop is intended to expose the Caribbean island's policy-makers and technical staff to more in-depth and hands-on practice with the various tools that can be used for budgeting. The skills obtained from taking part in this workshop will help inform decision-making in the area of HIV & AIDS and Health in general. Taking part in these regional training helps build the technical capacity of St. Maarten to deal with various public administration dilemmas.
