MP Sylvia Meyers Speaks about A-Team Security Predicament.

The UP faction is concerned about the welfare of approximately 70 A-Team Security Officers and approximately 150-200 family members.

According to media reports, the security officers have not been paid their February salaries from their employer and the owner of the company is allegedly off island.

The UP faction is calling on the Government to take the appropriate measures to assist the workers before this situation becomes a catastrophe for them and the 150-200 family members. These persons have responsibilities and obligations to meet on a monthly basis.

At the same time, the UP faction would like to commend the Maho Group of Companies for coming to the immediate aide of the 70 security officers by providing them with some financial assistance.

The A-Team Security Officers have also demonstrated their service of duty to the Maho Group with respect to remaining on the job despite their predicament.

They know how important it is to continue to provide service to the Maho Group of Companies which is one of the major hotels on the island where it concerns safety and security of hotel guests.
