Philipsburg:--- The police is requesting everyone over the age of 12 years old to have their identification cards or passport with them at all times when making use of the public roads or when visiting public entities because such is required by law (Identification Law).
When summoned by a police officer or auxiliary police officer to provide identification one has to adhere to this. If not, whether you are a national or non national you will be brought to the police station until such can be arranged. Please carry proper identification to avoid such inconvenience.
