Just as last year the Sint Maarten Seniors and Pensioners Association (SMSPA) will once again participate in the Health and Wellness Fair in the Festival Village on Saturday coming, March 23, 2012. The SMSPA wants to discuss with all visitors how they feel and think about the well-being of seniors and pensioners in Sint Maarten.
All families are invited to visit our booth and share with our association members their thoughts about the well-being and the health situation of their family members here in Sint Maarten.
The SMSPA CONSTITUTION stipulates that the SMSPA is against all forms of discrimination and in favour of the realization of all human rights for the seniors and their family members on an equal footing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
We want to hear from you what we have to do to improve the income and pension situation of the seniors from today and from tomorrow. Also we want to hear your recommendations about how to improve health care quality in Sint Maarten. We are very much interested in your experiences and grievances with the social security system and the health care system in Sint Maarten.
The younger generation especially the youth is also welcome to tell us if they want to be in the same situation tomorrow when they are a senior. We are very much interested in the thoughts of the youth about the situation of their senior parents or grandparents, and what they think we can do to change the situation so that tomorrow they don't end up in the same situation as we the seniors in Dutch Sint Maarten are now.
Board members will inform those interested about our mission, vision, capabilities and endeavors. You can get information about tasks and activities undertaken during its nearly two years of existence, to improve the health and the well-being of the seniors on Sint Maarten. For those who wish to join the SMSPA, application forms to sign up and become a member of the association will be available.
So let us share with you, our seniors from today and the seniors from tomorrow, Saturday coming at the health and wellness fair in the booth of the Sint Maarten Seniors and Pensioners Association.
