GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- The Collective Prevention Service (CPS) Department, Section Youth Health Care (YHC), has determined that its participation at the 5th Annual Lions Rudy Hoeve Health & Wellness Fair held on Saturday at the Festival Village, was a success.
CPS Section YHC had a Vaccination Booth manned by staff from YHC and CPS. Based on preliminary results, the vaccination status of 42 children was checked. Eight were under the age of four. The vaccination outreach at this civil society organization event is part of the Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labour Hon. Cornelius De Weever 'Get Checked' campaign, which emphasizes the importance of having the country's children immunized.
