FUN EXPO LIVES UP TO ITS NAME.

funexpo04042013PHILIPSBURG:--- During the penultimate weekend of March, Fun Miles, its partners, and hundreds of visitors enjoyed St. Maarten's first Fun Expo held at Kooyman Megastore. The Fun Expo – part of Fun Miles' 15th anniversary celebrations – was a three-day event where the public had the opportunity to experience the full potential of Fun Miles all in one place. There were booths, freebies, specials, exciting showcases, a kids' corner, food, drinks, and many happy prizewinners. The organization looks back on a successful, fun gathering with a turnout that exceeded all expectations. Fun Miles is the Caribbean's most popular customer reward program.

ABOUT THE FUN EXPO
More and more consumers own a Fun Miles card. The Fun Expo offered them a bird's-eye view of all the exciting things that they can enjoy by using it. Many partner companies were present to display and explain their regular Fun Miles offers, as well as some unique Fun Expo specials, which included giveaways and prizes. The Fun Miles Partners in attendance were Budget Marine, Divico Cash & Carry, DVD Express, ENNIA, Indulgence by the Sea Spa, International Liquors and Tobacco, Keijzer Computer Systems, KFC, Pizza Hut, Kooyman, OMNI, Penny's Department Store, St. Maarten Building Supplies, St. Maarten Veterinary Clinic, Sunny Foods, The Windward Island Bank, Travel Planners, TropiGas and UTS.

PLENTY OF PRESENTS AND PRIZES
As one visitor described it, the Fun Expo was "paradise if you like free stuff!" Keijzer Computers gave away vouchers for triple Fun Miles, as well as 2 prizes of 5,000 Fun Miles each to Michael Atmopawiro and Cornelis Huisintveld. The Windward Island Bank and Travel Planners generously gave out Bonus Miles. UTS had a number of popular offers that involved free scratch cards, free OneNet minutes, free Bonus Miles, and several devices for low amounts of Fun Miles. SXM Vet Clinic raffled off prizes ranging from a free pet bath to no less than 20,000 Fun Miles, which were won by Everard John Peter. ENNIA stunted with a prize of no less than 25,000 Fun Miles, picked up by Venacio Saunders, and Budget Marine treated its winners Jeff Oliver, Wilbert Ambrosina, and Fitzroy Silcott to 5000 Fun Miles each. Travel Planners made two winners happy with travel vouchers, and Kooyman gave away sixteen parasols as door prizes. The lucky ones were: Velma Winderfelde, Edna Rijkaard, Henri Lobato, Cheryl Rismay, Suresh Alwani, Aruska Marlin Bell, Maria Cox, Kirti Babani, Leopold Mathew, Jacqueline Evers, Margriet Richardson, Silvia Carty, and Cherisma Rismay. In addition, tickets to the Antillean and Zouk Carnival Nights on April 19 and 20, were sold which will feature performances by such greats as Le Groove, Carimi and Kassav. These tickets are still available at the Fun Miles office for low amounts of Fun Miles (while supplies last).
