SUCKER GARDEN:--- On Monday July 15th at approximately 8:20pm, the Central Police Dispatch received a call informing them of stabbing incident which had taken place on the Sucker Garden road in the vicinity of Coastal Car Rental. Several police patrols were sent to the scene to investigate what had taken place. On the scene the victim with the initials D.W. from Jamaica was found lying on the ground bleeding from serious stab wounds to his stomach and neck. The victim stated that he had an argument with a man with initials J.D. and during this heated dispute he was stabbed several times by the suspect with a machete. After committing this act the suspect fled the scene. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and then taken to the Sint Maarten Medical center for further treatment. The entire area was searched to locate the suspect, however without any success. The Forensic Department and Detective Department are conducting their investigation to determine exactly what happened and why.
