PHILIPSBURG:--- The investigation into the disappearance of Ann-Marie LYNCH, from Jamaica, who most recently worked at Pineapple Pete's in Simpson bay, has so far been unsuccessful. Ann-Marie Lynch has been missing since December 28th, 2012.
From the moment the missing person report was filed for Ann-Marie Lynch, a team was immediately formed by the Police Force of Sint Maarten, who has painstakingly investigated every tip and clue they had. Given the circumstances under which Ann-Marie went missing, the police suspected that Ann-Marie Lynch had become the victim of a criminal act.
Led by the prosecution many witnesses were heard by the investigation team, camera images viewed, phones tapped, and forensic investigations done. Raids were carried out and a suspect was arrested, but was later released due to insufficient evidence.
Despite investigations done by police and volunteers on different locations, the Coast Guard along several bays and beaches on the island, so far Ann-Marie Lynch has not been found. Also with the help of the FBI who carried out searches and investigations in the U.S. Virgin islands.
