PHILIPSBURG:--- President Sanjay Surtani was extremely honoured to have the former principle of his highschool, the honourable Minister Patricia Lourens speak at Rotary St. Maarten- Mid Isle's Change of Board ceremony where he and his board were officially installed. Minister Patricia Lourens praised the Rotary club for its efforts in the community and likened the experience of the new president to her experiences as a new minister and wished him much success in his endeavours during this Rotary year.
During the ceremony, President Sanjay presented the minister and the outgoing first lady of Rotary, Mrs. Yvette Hart with a bouquet of flowers. The first lady was thanked for her tireless support of Immediate Past President John Hart during this past year of service.
