PHILIPSBURG:--- Allison Van Dam is the winner of The Chippie Dream Vacation Giveaway. Allison will select the trip of her choosing to wherever in the world she would like to go, totaling a value of up to ANG 10,000. Chippie, the mobile operator offering this grand prize embarked on this endeavor in February of this year, to celebrate the mobile operators 10 year anniversary on the island of St. Maarten. Every Chippie customer, prepaid or postpaid was automatically entered to participate and had a chance of winning the trip. For every ANG 10 spent on calls the customer would get a digital ballot. These ballots accumulated over the duration of the campaign and the winner was selected at random last week.
"The intention was to really give all the customers that have helped make us what we are today a chance at winning this prize. So we developed a giveaway that everyone would be included in, whether they are a prepaid or a postpaid customer," said UTS Marketing and Communication Officer, Ivy Lambert. "We congratulate Allison on her win. Her entry was selected from millions of ballots. Selection of our winner took place at random under the supervision of an independent auditor." Allison has not yet selected her travel destination of choice. She has 4 months to decide where she would like to go. "I was really very surprised that I won but am so very happy that I did," said winner Allison Van Dam. "I was a bit overwhelmed when I was told that I had won so I will really need to think about where I would like to go on my trip. I sincerely thank Chippie for giving me this opportunity."
