gracitaarrindellatsisterborgiaschool15092013PHILIPSBURG:--- President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell, resumed her reading sessions at the Sister Borgia School last week. Arrindell along with others volunteer their time every school year to participate in reading sessions with the school children.

"Research has shown that the single most important thing a parent or volunteer can do to help a child acquire language, and instil a love of learning, is to read to a child. Reading to a child is one of the easiest ways to prevent future learning problems. This simple act has an enormous positive impact on the child," President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell pointed out.

President Arrindell encourages others, parents, and professionals to volunteer some time to read to the nation's youth.
