Conference themed "Money Meets Purpose"
PHILIPSBURG:--- Four churches on the island have come together to host what is considered a very timely and needed conference. This conference, which is themed "Money Meets Purpose," is being hosted by Christian Faith Ministries International, Living Praise Ministry, Solid Rock Assembly and Repairers of Broken Walls Ministries International. Guest speaker for this free event is Apostle Dexter James from Trinidad and Tobago.
Prophet Edwin Arrindell of Christian Faith Ministries International explained that the purpose of the conference is to educate the public, especially Christians, about the proper use and management of money. "Money meets purpose and money has purpose," Arrindell stated, reaffirming the theme for the conference. He further disclosed that right now the island on a whole is experiencing an "economic challenge" and the conference is geared to aid those that attend by teaching them about budgeting and proper financial decision making. "There is a scriptural reason for money and when we recognize it and apply it in our lives we will reap the benefits," Arrindell stated.
Apostle Hutson Flanders of Solid Rock Assembly explained that after observing the various problems that people encounter because of mishandling of money and the negative effect this is having in our community, he became part of this timely conference. "This conference will teach people how to manage their money properly," Flanders continued to expound. He further stated, "We use money; money don't use us, and we are careful, as leaders, to protect our congregations against mishandling of their money."
Apostle Dexter James, who is also known as "The Wealth Ambassador" is well-qualified, both financially and spiritually, to speak at this conference. James is a living testimony that the biblical financial principles that he teaches produces results. James, who was once very poor, is now a millionaire, not by confession but by possession, as he always testifies. James is traveling with a sixteen member team, which includes certified accountants as well as other professionals. James is also the author of more than eleven books and the founder of Dexter James Impartation Ministries. He has been traveling around the world teaching and preaching the biblical financial principles that destroy the financial restrictions over God's People.
The conference which is scheduled for the 25th, 26th and 27th of September 2013 will be held at Solid Rock Assembly in French Quarter and will commence at 7:30 nightly. The entire public is invited to attend.
