PHILIPSBURG:--- President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell would like to congratulate the Kingdom Youth Parliament with respect to their recently launched website which can be found at www.kingdomyouthparliament.org.
The Kingdom Youth Parliament (KYP) is the initiative of the Committee Kingdom Relations, the National Committee 200 years Kingdom and five enthusiastic young people: the KYP ambassadors.
Five teams of ten young people each will go into debate in May 2014, a team from the Netherlands, one from Curacao, one from Aruba and one from Sint Maarten, and one team of young people from Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
"In May 2014 Sint Maarten will be the host country for the KYP debate. We are looking forward to this in welcoming the other teams to the 'Friendly Island.'
"I would like to wish the various teams much success as they prepare for the debate that will take place in 2014," President Hon Gracita Arrindell disclosed on Monday.
